    How to rotate PDF pages

    1. Choose the PDF or drop it onto the page. It is opened in your browser, not uploaded.
    2. Pick the direction: 90° right, 180° or 90° left.
    3. Rotate all pages, or choose Selected pages and type them, for example 2, 4-6.
    4. Press Rotate PDF. The rotated file downloads straight away, named after your original file.

    Rotate PDFs with Zebra PDF

    • Saved in the file

The rotation is written into the PDF, so the pages are the right way round in every viewer and on every device.

    • All pages or some

Turn the whole document, or only the sideways scans in the middle of it.

    • No quality loss

Pages are turned, not re-rendered, so text stays sharp and selectable.

    • Private by design

Your file never leaves your device: no upload, no account and no watermark.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is rotating PDFs free?

Yes. It is free to use, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Your files are opened and processed by your own browser and the result is saved straight to your device. Nothing is sent to ZEBRA or anyone else.

    Is the rotation permanent?

Yes. It is saved in the PDF file, so the pages show the right way round in every PDF viewer, not only in your browser.

Can I rotate only some pages?

Yes. Choose “Selected pages” and type the pages to turn, for example 2, 4-6. The other pages stay as they are.

    Will rotating reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied as they are, not converted to images, so text stays sharp and selectable. Interactive form fields and bookmarks may not be carried over.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

No. Encrypted PDFs cannot be changed here, so Zebra PDF shows a message instead. This includes PDFs that open normally but have editing or printing restrictions. Remove the password or the restrictions in the app you used (or save an unrestricted copy), then try again.
